Ready to buy? But Don’t Know Where to Start?
Step 1
Get Pre Approved
We’ll introduce you to our mortgage partner, who can help you determine your buying price range with confidence. Be prepared to dig into paperwork during this part of the process such as pay stubs, W2’s, and tax returns. The lender will do a full review and then tell you what you will be able to borrow in order to purchase a home. This is a vital step in the home buying process!
Step 2
House Tours
The fun part of the purchasing process begins here! We'll schedule showings of the properties you've enjoyed from our property updates and attend neighborhood open houses together. We'll discuss the budget and make sure to find the ideal house for you.
Step 3
Time to Submit an Offer
Once we identify the home that you love we can move on to the most nerve wracking step.
When you're prepared to submit an offer, your agent will put it in writing and deliver it to the seller. Even though everyone loves getting their offer accepted right away, the seller could make a counteroffer to or reject your initial offer entirely. We will be ready to go over each of these scenarios with you and advise you how to proceed. The next step after the offer has been approved is to get your financing in order immediately!
Step 4
Offer Accepted
Your offer was accepted by the sellers, and the home will now spend the next 30 days in escrow. You will perform your property appraisal and inspections at this time. While the inspection makes sure that everything in the house is in working order and there are no major issues inside, the appraisal ensures that the price of the property reflects its condition. These are the final steps before you receive the golden keys to your home in your hand... forever!
